Our contact lenses are not approved for sleeping. We recommend contact lenses be removed, cleaned and stored daily.
Wearing contacts at night can be problematic and in some cases endanger your eye health. If you sleep in your contacts or wear them for a very extended time period, you may contract “CLARE”- contact lens acute red eye.
Another condition can arise from lack of oxygen or “hypoxia” to the eye which is called: Corneal microcysts.
We recommend discussing your options with your eye care provider.
