Indoor: Our therapeutic ‘indoor’ lens is optimal for light sensitive people and migraine sufferers as well as people with visual snow, eyestrain, dry eye, digital eyestrain, Blepharospasm, headaches, computer vision syndrome, who are bothered by the fluorescent lights they encounter in indoor environments, including work or school, inside the home, or while shopping.  Try this lens first to be sure you like the tint.  You can always invest in a darker pair in the future if needed.

Outdoor: For outdoor use, or for those with severe light sensitivity, the “outdoor” lens is more effective and blocks approximately the same amount of light as conventional sunglasses. This is our most therapeutic lens.

Photochromic:  A photochromic lens can be a good option for some people.  Axon Optics photochromic lenses are indoor lenses that darken to outdoor lenses when exposed directly to UV light. A photochromic lens can be a good option for some people. They do darken outside and double as a pair of sunglasses. The darkening element within the lens won’t impede your regular vision, indoors or out. However, it is important to know that photochromic lenses only darken when directly exposed to UV light. They do not darken in bright indoor light or inside cars. These lenses are more reactive in cold weather. Indoor temperatures and warm outdoor weather will be slower.
